Podium finish with LOLMDS at All-Tech Raceway
Sheppard Riggs Racing and Brandon Sheppard rejoined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Saturday afternoon at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) after Mother Nature axed Friday’s Winter Nationals opener.
With 44 Late Models amassed, Sheppard’s second-place finish in his heat race placed him on the fourth row for the $15,000-to-win A-Main. Advancing onto the podium, Brandon reeled in a third-place finish in the 50-lap affair. He chased Ricky Thornton Jr. and Tim McCreadie to the checkers with Devin Moran and Tyler Erb completing the top-five finishers.
